- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine/butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Cream the sugar and margarine. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in the dry ingredients, flour, cream of tartar, salt, and baking soda. Roll out dough 1/2 at at time on floured surgace to 1/4" thick. Cut inot desired shapes and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 F for 7-9 minutes. Cool and frost.
