Crust
1 Tbs. yeast
1 cup warm water
1/2 tsp. sugar
Dissolve yeast in warm water, add sugar.
Let sit for 5 minutes or until begins to bubble.
1 1/2 Tbs oil
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2-3 cups flour
Add oil and salt. Add flor 1/2 cup at a time
until dough is smooth. Knead well. Place
back in bowl and let rise 15-20 minutes.
Sauce
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
3 Tbs. tomato paste
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. dried onion
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. garlic (minced or garlic powder)
Mix together and simmer over low heat
20 minutes. (You may add a little water if it's too thick)
Spread out crust on an oiled baking sheet. Spread on sauce, cheese and toppings.
Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F for 18-20 minutes, or until crust is brown on edge and cheese is melted in the middle.
